Was working in Far East on monday and Iluma yesterday. 1 of the unit on level 2 of Iluma (in front of the link bridge & level 2 main entrance) caught our eyes for a considerably long time. Finally checked with Iluma mgmt regarding the cost of renting of that shop. The rental is WOAH...expensive!!! About $15k. That's almost the the rental of our 1st suntec shop but of a smaller size. No way are we going to take that kind of risk. O_O

Found other shops in the same mall as us selling exactly the same products we are selling at a lower price. The supplier promised us that he won't sell to any1 else in Singapore. He also broke many other promises that he made. He always says one thing but meant another. A customer even had to wait for 3 mths for a pair of shoes he had requested to be customised which is to be done within 1 mth. In the end, the customer never even gotten his shoes coz after 3 mths of "chasing" the supplier says "it cannot be done". If it cannot be done, why can't he say it earlier than let customer wait for 3 mths. It is not the first time already. Because of him we have offended quite a number of customers. Really don't know how to carry on working with a supplier like him. Whatever he says now we take it with a pinch of salt. This is what I call overpromise-underdeliver.

Mum's away in M'sia since last thursday. Coming back on Friday. Went to Far East this morning at 8.30am to "ja-ga" the renovation that was taking place there. Was adding in new fixtures as there is no space to display our new shoes and bags which have been sitting at home for months. Will be changing the signboard as our current shop signboard is "Extreme Shop" not "San Street". Quite a number of people are confused and have a difficult time finding our shop. Iluma has no need for renovation as we will be shifting out of there once the contract ends. That will only takes place next week. Mum told our renovator and I that we got to be in Far East before 8.40am (according to the fengshui master 10th Nov 2010 8.40am is the auspicious date & time for the renovation to begin). O_O Fengshui again! Haiz..... Like I always said I don't believe in fengshui but will just go along with mum's plans if it brings her peace that way. Whereas for me, my peace is from JC. John 14:26 says "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give you peace. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid". The entire renovation took so long. Couldn't open shop for business till ard 4.30p.m. Thank God the renovation started 2 and a half hrs b4 opening hrs. Otherwise it's going to take much much longer.
