Been so quiet these days esp in Bugis. Guess coz it's the exam period? But really lo quite stress with the sales in Bugis. On the 3rd floor of Iluma (the floor we're on), 5 shops have already shifted out of Iluma (not including the other floors where shops has also shifted out). The neighbours are also complaining about their sales and saying they're are going to shift out once contract is over. We are thinking of shifting out too....once contract ends in March. Current situation in Bugis is like the time when we were in Suntec but at least here we get to see people walking ard. But they are are here just to eat and watch movie NOT shop. Even if Iluma give us rental of $5 psf rental, we also don't want to rent. Sooooooooooooooo waiting for the christmas, new year and chinese new year crowd.
Our current stocks of ladies shoes are ALL heels mostly 4 inches high. Obviously not for everyday wear. Thinking of bringing in other ladies shoes like flats, wedges, etc. Also planning to start doing sales. That means have got to design and print out promotional posters and also bring older stocks to the shops and reorganise them. Which also means we need to bring the new stocks home since there is no discount for them. That's the biggest headache in retail - fear of having dead stocks. New stocks keep coming in but the older stocks are not moving. Been so tired lately and been having constant headaches. Haven't been able to sleep well. Can't seem to sleep at night. Most of the time at 2am/3am I'll still be tossing & turning in bed. O_O
That's it for now. Going to buy dinner....thinking of subway.
