We had our far east and suntec shops closed for the first 3 days of CNY. Didn't bai nian at all this year as all my relatives are in Malaysia and we didn't go back to Malaysia for CNY. My parents and I went to Bangkok instead for 3d2n (the duration we closed shop) to shop/source around and at the same time check out the fashion there. The day after returning back to SG, went back to work.
Found another staff recently. We have known her for about 2 years already as she used to work in another shop in suntec. We know her boss too and have saw for ourself the work attitude she has in her job. She came to us to ask for a job after she quitted her job in that shop. As we didn't had vacancy then and also we didn't want to offend her previous boss by making them think we snatch their staff from them. We never do that. Only recently did we gave her a call to check if she's still looking for a full time job and apparently she is. She has started work full time with us since monday. All our staffs now are all above 20 years old. I have totally lost my faith in those who are younger than 19 years old (just like other bosses). Right now, we only have 1 part timer who's 17 but he has returned back to study and can only help out after his o level. I really can't stand staffs playing truancy. It's as if the company is their playground and they can come as and when they want to. Hopefully no more of such staff problems.
