Our new supplier will also be our purchaser. He'll go ard sourcing products for us, show us some samples that he thinks is nice and if we like the product we can make the orders thru' him. So now he's our supplier-cum-purchaser. Ha. Is there such a position? Younger than me (only 24) but very entrepreneurial. I've a lot to learn from him. Indeed do not despise your youth.
Our new girl has already undergone 4 days of training. According to our malay girl who's training her in our far east outlet, she's trying to learn fast. Though still a bit blur with the stock location and a bit scared of using the cashier as she has never used the kinda cash register system that we are using (a lot of other shops are using the normal cash register where u juz key in the price. but we're using barcode cash register system that tracks whatever is sold in the outlet).
Apparently this new girl used to work in the shop just next to our shop in iluma selling jeans and some ladies clothings but I don't remember seeing her (that shop has already shifted out of iluma as someone else has taken over at the start of this month). She'll train in far east for 2 weeks b4 heading down to iluma for a few days. As we already have staffs allocated in each outlet, she's an 'extra' staff as such she'll be running ard outlets basically just far east and iluma (she won't be going to suntec coz there is no crowd there & it's a waste of money to pay staff to sit down there). Between far east and iluma, she'll located more in far east as that is our main outlet. She will only be in iluma for 2 days on the days that our girl allocated in iluma is off.
