I am bored in the shop. Though far east do have more people as compared to suntec. But with the current recession going on, economy is slow, business also is slow. Hopefully the recession won't affect the business much.

The auntie opp. our far east shop keeps telling me that we can make it here in far east esp since we are doing our own brand. She's a christian as well. She even teaches me to pray every morning during opening (to lift up the day sales into His Hands) and at night during closing (to thank Him for the day's sales and for a better tomorrow). Very encouranging & nice auntie.

Been so busy in the shop. Even mum has to work in our suntec shop. She don't even have time to deal with the stocks at home. Even for me, I have got abt 1 month ++ of accounts that has yet to be done. Haven't been going for service and cell group since the start of september. 1st was busy with the shifting and now lack of manpower. This is because one of our full timer took about 4 weeks of leave to go back to her hometown to visit her seriously ill mum. What to do? No choice. Starting a business is not easy. No wonder there is a chinese saying that goes "Xian Ku Ho Tian" (directly translated as "Bitter 1st Sweet later").

We got 2 full timers and 2 part timers (but they are currently studying and can only work on weekends. we will only call them in during peak period). We will be having another new full timer coming in. Next monday to be exact. I would have to train her up. All our staffs are trained up by me. Training staffs is not an easy task. Everyone learn things in different ways. Those with the hack-care attitude, even more difficult to train. I usually give these kind of people the indifferent attitude.

We will need 1 in suntec, 2 in far east and 2 in bugis when it does open. + we'll also need part timers in all outlets during peak periods. Wonder how long more it will take before I can step out of the shop front to do the management related things that I am supposedly to be doing instead of just sitting in the shop serving customers (though it is actually rather fun, THAT IS when there are actually customers).
